Rovinj is a beautiful hilltop town on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula. In the heart of the old town, cobbled streets lead up to the church of St. Euphemia, whose bell tower was built to resemble the tower of St Mark’s Basilica in Venice. Along the small winding streets you’ll find numerous small artisan shops plying their trade, providing small paintings, unique souvenirs, or a variety of quality hand-made crafts. There are also world class restaurants, like Monte at the top of the hill. In short, if you want a wonderful little get away, you’ll find what you are looking for in magical Rovinj.
